Eight-year-old killed while crossing road

The accident took place in White City location along Jermil Drive at 8.30pm on May 27, 2017.
He said that minor, a student a local primary school, was rushed to Nyangabgwe Referral Hospital, but was certified dead upon arrival.
“A 33-years-old-man who happened to be the driver is currently helping us with the investigations.
“The car operator is likely to be charged with causing death by dangerous driving if the evidence points that way.”
Tatitown Police are also investigating a case in which a 40-year-old man was found lying on the ground with stab wounds.
Tatitown Police station commander, superintendent Cyprian Magalila said that the man was found at Francistown Sports Complex on Sunday.
Police suspect that the incident took place after the Toropo Ya Muka Music Festival, which ended at six in the morning. He said that the injured man’s life is hanging by a thread and he is currently hospitalised at Nyangabgwe.
Magalila said no arrests have been made and an appeal has been sent out for eyewitnesses.
