This will be a follow up to his last album, ‘I do’, which was released late last year upon signing a deal with Universal.

“I am working on a new album working closely with Trade Mark who are the producers of most tracks on the album. I can’t say when the album will be released or say much on the album because I have to seek for approval from Universal. I have to take the album to them first,” said Vee Mampeezy.

He noted that it will take a month or so for him to go to the Universal for the approval of the yet to be named album’s.

This is not the first time the No Suffer musician collaborates with Trade Mark. They have worked together on the song I do, which them won them a Metro FM Award this year.

As a brand Trade Mark has been doing well with their smash hits such as Shumaya, which was once an anthem.

“I chose to work with Trade Mark because their work made us win a Metro FM Award. I believe we still have more hits to make together that’s why they are producing 80% of the album”.

After spending some days in Botswana producing the album, Trade Mark sampled a number of tracks from the forthcoming album on Facebook. The songs have Vee’s Kwasa element fused with that house music tempo which is predominant in the South African music.

“We were just giving you the feel of the album, it’s a huge album. We left five hits on Vee’s album,” said Trade Mark member, Fannie Promise Mahlangu through a Facebook post.

Vee Mampeezy noted that he has also worked with local producers and artists such as Dr Tawanda, DJ Bino, and BK Procter on the album. This past weekend he performed at the 123rd South African Music Awards pre party. He was also a nominee but he did not manage to win an award.
