Seven arrested for possession of stolen property

 

According to BPS, in one of the cases, two Batswana men aged between 29 and 31 years both from Mochudi were found in possession of a computer and accessories.  

The computer was allegedly linked to a case of breaking and theft that occurred at a local school in the village.

The duo was arrested in Mochudi on March 3, 2018.

In another incident, four Batswana men aged between 36 and 47 years of Letlhakane were arrested at a police checkpoint at Gamodubu junction after they were found in possession of copper cables.

It is suspected that the copper cables were stolen in Orapa. 

Furthermore, a 32-year-old Zimbabwean man of Naledi location in Gaborone was arrested after being found in possession of property that included cellphones and accessories, bags and sunglasses, which are allegedly stolen. 

The properties have since been linked to two cases of robberies reported in Lobatse.  Investigations are ongoing in all of the incidents.
