In an one-sided game, Motlakase also called Chouka Chouka by its hordes of fans dominated the game from start to finish. After the referee blew the whistle for the game to start, Motlakase put Stars under a lot of pressure forcing the latter to commit corner kicks. Chouka scored on the seventh-minute when Samuel Makgoro connected a cross from the left flank.

In the 18th minute, Katlego Ralegoreng ballooned a glorious opportunity over the bar after being set free by his teammate. Chouka were given a free kick on the eighth-minute that was cleverly taken by Samuel Makgoro but Stars goalkeeper Nsala tipped it over the bar.

The visitors were rewarded on the 22nd minute after Itumeleng Mabuaaeme scored with a header from a left cross. In the 35th minute, Ralegoreng who was a thorn on Stars’ side throughout the game dribbled past a number of Stars defenders but goalkeeper Nsala tipped his shot over the bar for a corner. Chouka who were clearly dominating the game scored another goal in the 44th-minute through Tshepang Boithatelo following a goalmouth melee.

Chouka exploited Stars’ weak left defence side and it was not a surprise when they scored another goal from a left cross on the 72nd -minute through Mabuaaeme. The visitors completed their rout in the 72nd minute when Lapologang Motlogi scored from another cross from the left.

Stars assistant coach, Ndulamo Million was disappointed with their loss. “We did not play according to our plan. We will go back to the drawing board to plan for the future,” he said.

Chouka coach, Agang Mogotsi said they played their usual carpet football. “Our intention was to control the game from the start and we managed to control the game until it ended.” Motlakase who have accumulated 33 points in the league so far trail leaders BR Highlanders by six points with three league games to play.
