The club has been experiencing internal squabbles with two committees running parallel roles. Following a court battle, the two groups met and agreed on certain resolutions seeking to end the long running battle for the control of the club.

The resolutions were later turned into a court order. However the two groups, having agreed on putting the club under transitional management, have up to now failed to implement the resolutions.

While the other group led by Raymond Tsheko and Clifford Mogomotsi felt that the transitional committee should have been selected by now, the other group led by chairman of the Society, Ramocha Tsieng was of the view that they cannot implement anything until they receive the written order from the High Court.

At the meeting called by the Trust recently, Mogomotsi expressed concern over the delay in the implementation of the order. He said the two parties could not afford to wait for the written order because the judge has made a pronouncement, which automatically became a court order.

On Saturday, the Society called a meeting with the members where they updated them on the current status of the club.

At the meeting, the supporters expressed concern over the current status of the club and urged the two parties to meet and reach a common ground as soon as possible. They asked the leadership at the Society to arrange a meeting with the leadership of the Trust and see how they go about the court order.

“We told them the written order is not out yet but their main worry is that time is running out. So they want us to meet the leadership of the Trust so that we close the gaps,” Tsieng told Sport Monitor yesterday.

He said the supporters’ main concern was that the Trust’s tenure is coming to an end and there might be a leadership crisis if the two parties do not meet soon and see how they go about the court order.

“What we are going to do now is arrange a meeting with the leadership of the Trust and see how we can move forward on the issue,” Tsieng said. Chairman of the Trust, Tsheko recently announced to the supporters that the Trust will cease to exist at the end of the season following the resolutions agreed between the two parties.
