BOFEPUSU has indicated that the Palapye congress resolved to participate in and influence the political economy through engaging political parties and civil groups to the workers’ agenda.
The federation also intends embarking on demonstrations across the country effective May 16, 2017.
Yesterday the director of Public Service Management, Ruth Maphorisa responded “in accordance with Section 37 (C) it is misconduct for an employee to engage in any activity outside his or her official duties, which is likely to involve him or her in political controversy.
“All public officers are therefore to desist from any utterance and activity that may land themselves in political controversy”.
