The meeting, scheduled to take place at Radikolo Junior Secondary School will be the first from the Society since the two groups fighting for the control of the club, reached common ground.

The two groups, following a court case, resolved that the club be put under a transitional management. The transitional committee will comprise nine members.

Three names will be selected by the group led by Ramocha Tsieng and the other led by Raymond Tsheko and Clifford Mogomotsi. Three other members will be agreed upon by the two groups and will include some elders from the club.

After the agreement, the two groups then approached the High Court in Lobatse where the agreed terms were turned into a court order.

Speaking to Mmegi Sport on Tuesday, Tsieng said the meeting will be mainly to update the members about how far they are with the case.

He said the delay in coming up with a transitional committee was because they are still waiting for a written order from the High Court.

He said before then, they cannot implement anything. During a meeting called by the Trust last month, both Tsheko and Mogomotsi expressed concern at the delay in the formation of the transitional committee.

They said the delay could compromise some of the issues that it has to deal with ahead of the 2017-2018 season including the issue of club licensing.

Mogomotsi at the time said there was no need to wait for the written court order since the judge made a pronouncement.  He said the moment the judge makes a pronouncement, it automatically becomes a court order and therefore should be implemented.

However, Tsieng said they cannot implement anything before they receive a written document. “What if we implement something assuming the judge said something only to find that it does not appear when the written order arrives.

It will become a problem now.” Tsieng did not rule out other matters arising at the meeting besides the update on the court issue. “Other matters may arise from the questions asked by the members. We will see,” he said.
