Golesedi singer releases debut single

The One is a love song and could not have been released at a better time than in February as it is regarded as the month of love.

The song so far had overwhelming reception and feedback.  It is available on SoundCloud and the link is available on all her social media platforms.  Even though she recorded many songs, Jordie chose to release that song because she said it was close to the sound that she wanted to be known for and that is ‘Neo Soul Rnb’.

“I wouldn’t say I started singing at a certain age, but ever since I could know how to speak I sang everywhere, at home, church praise and worship and the school choirs.  I basically grew up listening to an assortment of influential artists and in my early 20s I felt heavily inclined to take my passion for music seriously.  That’s exactly what I did, I made a conscious decision to make music for the listening pleasure of all for the rest of my life,” she boasted.

She said that by the grace of God late last year, she met ‘Chef Gustos’, an amazing music producer of their generation who heard her sing and he was impressed. He asked her to work with him and without wasting any time they did a song together called ‘Golesedi’.  The song blew up the music industry.

She said its reception was amazing and so was the experience of meeting other artists in the industry.   Being surrounded by people who love her work confirmed that, that was exactly what she had to do for the rest of her life.

“If I can sing and one person listens and their lives are changed that’s enough of a reward for me. Going forward I have so many plans that basically involve more music from Jordie, visuals, gigs, collaborations and last but not least my jam packed project. The year 2018 is basically the year for me to secure work,” the Mahalapye-born singer proudly said.
