The former Mafolofolo and national team captain is expected to take over as Tlhaselo moves into management to help grow the team’s structure.

Speaking to Mmegi Sport, Molosiwa was cagey with details of her pending new role. She said it was too early for her to become the head coach as Tlhaselo is still holding the position.

“I joined the team last year and I am still getting used to their culture. Despite that, I cannot shy away from responsibility if I am given the position.  I have worked with almost 90% of the players at the junior national team,” she said.

It is said when Tlhaselo recruited Molosiwa, he had seen her potential as a coach. Tlhaselo intended to step down in 2016, but found it difficult to get the right coach to drive his vision for the club going forward.

The P150,000 sponsorship from Zac Construction was meant to create a conducive ground for the new coaches to succeed without financial hurdles as all these years he had been the sole financial lifeblood of the team.

The delay in quitting as a coach is said to have been caused by his desire to let the process run gradually towards the end of last season.

There are games he missed to let Molosiwa take gradual charge. One such game was when Dynamites beat Kutlwano 3-1 in a league game, their first win over their rivals. It was a game, which convinced Tlhaselo that Molosiwa was ready to take over.

Mmegi Sport can reveal that Molosiwa is the one who has been conducting training. Tlhaselo himself could neither deny nor confirm the developments.

“Last year I heard of that story in one local radio station that I have recruited Tshepo (Molosiwa) so that I relinquish my post.  But I was there the whole year.

I have not been well of late that is why you do not see me at training. But I am working for the team behind the scenes and if anything newsworthy develops, we will share.

After receiving that sponsorship from Zac, it meant we have to work hard to improve our administrative systems so that we maximise on the partnership in a profitable way for the players.

It is not easy when you also have a full time job elsewhere, but we will get there,” Tlhaselo said.

Although Tlhaselo refused to confirm the appointment, Mmegi Sport is informed that other coaches Ruth Mbangwa, Shadrack Modiakgotla, Stone Mekgwe and Daniel Ngozi are targeted to form a strong technical team at Dynamites. Meanwhile, the club continues to struggle to retain its players due to lack of resources.
