Brazil foreign Minister in Bots

During the visit, Senator Ferreira will hold bilateral talks with his counterpart, Honourable Dr. Pelonomi Venson-Moitoi, Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation on issues of mutual interest.

Having established diplomatic relations in 1985, Botswana and Brazil enjoy strong bonds of friendship and cooperation underpinned by shared values of democracy, good governance and the rule of law.

The visit will afford the two Ministers an opportunity to further explore ways and means of deepening political and economic cooperation between the two sister countries.

The Brazil External Relations Minister will also meet with the Minister for Presidential Affairs, Governance and Public Administration; Minister of Health and Wellness; and the Minister of Agricultural Development and Food Security.

Senator Ferreira, will be accompanied by the Senator from Brazilian Federal Senate and senior Brazil officials.
