Bumper Easter premier League programme

Chiefs and Santos have been occupying second position in-turns recently and the match should settle the argument in the short-run. Santos currently occupy the spot with Chiefs in third position. The game between the two rivals kicks off at 7pm. It is a much-anticipated duel as the winner will be guaranteed second spot. The game could not have come at a better time than a Good Friday which might attract a huge crowd. Two points separate the two rivals and if Santos win, they will extend the gap to five points. Santos have been in brilliant form of late and start as slight favourites.

Chiefs who have a game in hand, will go second; a point clear of Santos if they win. The Kgatleng side has been chasing Rollers for most of the season until the recent resurgence of Santos complicated the race.

Both Rollers and fourth-placed Extension Gunners will keenly follow proceedings in Molepolole. A draw will favour Rollers and Gunners. Rollers might stretch their lead to 14 points with a win over struggling Killer Giants tonight. Gunners would move to third if both Santos and Chiefs draw.

Besides Rollers, Santos have emerged as one of the feared teams in the league. They are yet to lose a league game since the beginning of the year. With their main striker, Musonda Mweuku suspended, Chiefs will once again be counting on Sekhana Koko and Kekaetswe Moloi for goals. Moloi got a rare start against BDF XI and scored the opener. After Santos, Chiefs will then travel to Jwaneng to take on Jwaneng Comets on Monday at 3.30pm.

Santos will be counting on the form of their four attackers, Mogakolodi 'Tsotso' Ngele, his brother Godfrey, Farasai Nyamunamwendo and Boitshoko Zikhale to continue finding the back of the net. Santos have scored the most number of goals in the league (59). Despite the absence of their influential attacker, 'Tsotso' in the last fixture against Nico United, they managed to score four goals.

After a free weekend, Rollers will be in action on Monday when they travel to Francistown for a tricky encounter against ECCO City Greens. Rollers hold an 11-point advantage at the top with eight games left before the season ends. ECCO will be looking for revenge after Rollers hammered them 3-0 in the first round. But before the Rollers' encounter, ECCO will have to worry about their date against BDF XI tomorrow at Otse Police College.

In other matches tomorrow, Motlakase host Notwane in Selebi-Phikwe while Extension Gunners lock horns with Jwaneng Comets who lost 1-0 to BDF XI on Tuesday. All the games kick off at 3.30pm. TAFIC and Nico United square off in Selebi-Phikwe tonight at 7pm.

Sunday could turn out to be a battle for survival as the four relegation sides seek to avoid the dreaded axe. TAFIC and Boteti Young Fighters lock horns in Francistown while Killer Giants host BMC in Molepolole. Both games kick off at 3.30pm. On Monday, Police XI meet Extension Gunners at Otse Police College while Gaborone United (GU) take on Nico United in Molepolole. The games start at 3.30pm.
