He told Showbiz that he recorded the album last year, which Jay Black in Francistown produced.

“I didn’t feature anyone in this album, it was a solo project since it is my first,” he said.

Tipp-Ex said he has not been able to put out any project since 2009 because of his study commitments.

The motswako rapper said he has already worked with Club Media in Gaborone and shot a video of the track, Tshelo Jwame.

“My identity is to make positive music that can empower my fans and other listeners out there,” he said. He said he named the album Fetogang because he advocates for change.

He said unlike other artists he doesn’t put (out) his music for free download on social media but rather sells it.

The title track beams a positive message right from the first verse and his ability to use Setswana sayings demands the listener’s attention.

Tripp-Ex flows with the beat perfectly and shows that he took time to write the lyrics that blend in well with the instrumental.

He is an artist who does not just throw rhymes all over the place, but focuses more on the message and flow.

Sure, he does have room for improvement and his only task is to get people to listen to his inspirational music.
