Gunners are now unbeaten in six games

It was Duiker’s second victory since he took over from Daniel Nare in the middle of the season. The other four matches ended in a stalemate. The victory saw them move into position four before yesterday night’s BTC Premiership matches. The Peleng giants have been struggling for a couple of seasons, but appear destined to finish in the top eight bracket this season.

Now under new management, the club has now stayed off, off-field controversies that have engulfed them for many seasons amongst them unpaid players’ wages.

Duiker’s record despite leading the charges on caretaker basis now put him in good position to be considered on fulltime basis next season. He has also managed to rediscover Ralesotla’s form. The former Green Lovers and Gaborone United striker joined Gunners in January after struggling for form at GU.

He is expected to lead the attack once again when Gunners take on Mochudi Centre Chiefs on Saturday in what is expected to be a thrilling encounter.

Chiefs also registered a victory on Tuesday night to keep their hopes of finishing in the top eight alive.

Tendai Nyamadzawo inspired Magosi’s comeback, winning 3-1 against relegation candidates, Mahalapye Hotspurs. Nyamadzawo scored two goals with the other goal coming from Jerome Ramatlhakwane.
