The event that aims to create the ultimate bond and connect moment will also bring together local and international artists such as DJ Cody, German Dollar, M’chovas Finest, Tshepiedee, DramaBoi, and Ricky Rick.

Major League, made up of twins, Bandile and Banele Mbere, are currently amongst trending artists in South Africa, while Ricky Rick has always shown that he is amongst the most loved South African artists when he performs in local shows.

“The aim of the event remains the same in that we want to tap into the lads/friends passion point of music to create the ultimate bond and connect moment and reignite the success of the original event,” marketing and events manager, Jennifer Gaffney said.

“This isn’t just about a ‘music’ event per se but to deliver a full Jameson Bond & Connect experience through every detail - from the bespoke cocktails provided by the Liquid Library team, the gourmet junk food by Zest, The Box and Knox and Dix, pop-up stalls by African Wax Print, Ethic Grounds and more, right down to the local and international artists that will keep our guests dancing all night,” she added.

She said they wanted to create an experience that is locally relevant, has a premium edge, and focuses on building brand advocacy.

Gaffney stated that they would be keeping the event model of the Jameson Connects from previous years the same, but on a much bigger scale.

Furthermore, she said this year’s event has a lot of exciting activities lined up to make the Jameson Connects experience even better.

This include hosting the final of the Jameson Foosball Tournament where the winning pair will each walk away with a Jameson Foosball table. Other excitement on the evening include activities such as Jameson 10 Pin Bowling, Jameson Pong, Jameson Interactive Selfie Cube and the Jameson Strong Man.

This is the third instalment of the annual Jameson Connects Botswana with a mini Jameson Re-Connects happening either side of each big Jameson Connects.

General tickets for the show sell at P250. They include a complimentary welcome Jameson cocktail specially prepared by Liquid Library and a tripled distilled, twice as smooth night of fun.

Meanwhile, Gaffney said VIP tickets are very limited this year and are available exclusively from Liquid Library.

“VIP passes are P4,000 for a table of seven people, which gets you into the event, exclusive VIP seating, two bottles of Jameson, 12 Fitch and Leedes dashes and a yummy food platter prepared for you by Zest,” she said.
