Moagi to spend more days in custody

Appearing before Extentsion II Magistrate Lenthabile Willy today, prosecution pleaded with court to further remand Moagi in custody. Magistrate Willy acceded to the prosecution’s plea. When asked if he had anything to say, Moagi who appeared to have given up told court that he had nothing to say.

But early this month Moagi was eager to be freed pleading with Extension II Magistrate’s Court to grant him bail. He suggested relocating to Sikwane village, where he believed irate members of the public would not locate him. His application for bail was dismissed 

Moagi is suspected to have raped and killed a nine year old child of his ex-girlfriend in November last year at White City in Gaborone.
