Kickstarting the performance was the youthful We Must Praise Choir who kept the crowd on its toes with praise and worship songs.
The gospel artist turned pastor Vusi Mtukufa kept up the momentum as he ushered in the lively crowd with his songs Intshwarele, Busetsa Tsotlhe Mo Mannong as well as Mmereki Marakakgoro’s Faokile Wa Nna Motho.
Up next was Tshepo Lesole who performed his Christian praise and worship songs including Nkabo Kele Kae, I Believe, Use Me, just to mention a few.
By the time South African gospel icon, Dr Tumi who filled up the 20,000-seater, The Ticketpro Dome when launching his latest album, The Gathering of Worshippers entered the stage; the crowd was already fired up.
The platinum selling artist gave a two-hour electrifying performance serving the crowd with his songs like You Are Here, No Other God, Without You, You Are The Air That I Breath and Someone Like Me.
Born Tumisang Makweya, Dr Tumi is a producer, vocalist, instrumentalist and also runs a surgery in Mabopane, north of Pretoria, South Africa.
