Speaking after Rollers dismissed Security Systems 2-0 at the Lobatse Sports Complex on Sunday, Mpote said they will play their remaining games at their own pace in order to defend the title.

“There is no threat. Galaxy is not a threat in our campaign to retain the championship. They are playing their own game and we are playing our own too. We want to look at the games as they come.

We are going to play at our own pace and they will also play at their own pace. We just have to win our games, collect three points and we will get there,” he said.

On Sunday, Motsholetsi Sikele opened the scoring for Rollers in the 27th minute after taping into the net in a crowded box.

Popa were in full control and leading goal scorer, Terence Mandaza increased his tally to 14 when he prodded home in the 44th minute.

Meanwhile, Security Systems head coach Thaloba Nthaga said his team failed to defend well, which saw them lose the game.

“We failed to defend well during the first half and that cost us the game. It is never easy to come back from two goals down against Rollers.

We lost the game during the first half, but we will get there and give them a challenge next time,” he said.

Mapalastina have been on top of the log for some time but over the weekend, Galaxy briefly went top before Rollers played Systems 24 hours later.

Rollers reclaimed the top spot and their two-point advantage with six games remaining.
