Anal Sex Horror: Teenage Boy Charged With Offence

The accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was 15 years-old when he allegedly committed the offence while his victim was nine years-old and was doing his primary education at a local school.

The complainant told prosecutor Gasemotho Pitlagano in his examination-in-chief that on the day the accused allegedly sexually molested him, he was at home with his three friends.

The complainant said the accused told him and his friends to accompany him to the river. “We agreed and when we arrived at the river, the accused undressed me and ordered me to sit on my knees.

I obliged and he then inserted his stiff manhood inside my anus.

He then told me to go home warning that he will stab me with a knife if I told anyone what happened,” said the complainant.

The complainant who looked traumatised by the harrowing ordeal said he later mustered the courage to tell his aunt who later relayed his experience to his mother. The matter was then reported to the police, he said.

Asked by Pitlagano what his friends did when the accused allegedly sexually abused him, the complainant said: “My friends were present when the accused abused me, but they didn’t do anything because the accused was carrying an Okapi knife. He was going to defeat us. I also don’t know how to fight”.

When cross-examining the complainant, the accused asked him if he was sure that he came to his place before sexually molesting him.

The complainant answered in the affirmative. The accused then vehemently denied ever coming to the complainant’s place in his life.

He also denied ever playing football with the complainant’s team because they were younger than him but the complainant stuck to his guns telling the Court that he knew the accused since their football teams used to play against each other.

Magistrate Kaveri Kapeko presided over the case.

Meanwhile, two men were remanded in custody for allegedly using force to rob Barcelos Restaurant of P450 at Nzano Mall on March 17.

The accused, Jimmy Gondo (19) and Bakang Mpelegang (22) and another who was not before C ourt were not asked to plead because investigations into the matter were at their initial stages.

Inspector Goitsemang Ramatatome told the Court that the accused have just been recently arrested adding that the police are still on the lookout for the third suspect who is a Zimbabwean.

The investigating officer, Thatayaone Sankoloba pleaded with the Court to remand the accused in custody because he is yet to interview them.

He said the knife that was allegedly used during the commission of the offence has not yet been recovered.

Sankoloba added that the police feared that if the accused could be granted bail, they might abscond from attending trial since it was difficult to arrest them after they allegedly committed the offence last month.

The accused’s prayers to be granted bail were denied by Kapeko, who said the police needed time to complete their investigations.
