Botswana Life Awards Best Performing Brokers

The Achievers Club is a platform for Botswana Life’s elite agents and brokers who demonstrate a veritable passion for sales and driving the growth of the business.

The annual awards, now in the third year, celebrate the effort continuously demonstrated by the Achievers’ performance as they excel over time, performing above and beyond expectation.

Speaking during the awards recently, BIHL CEO Thomas Masifhe said after much review, the organisers of the Botswana Life Achievers Club Awards declared that the 2018 instalment shall be themed, The Year of the Eagles.

“The theme resembles that the sky’s dangers have more to offer than the opportunities of the nest’s comfort hence the dedication of these recipients,” he said.

He said that the recipients have persevered and thrived to help contribute to positive performance for Botswana Life despite a challenging global and national economy and difficult circumstances encountered in 2017. “This is what guided this business when we first opened our doors some 43 years ago and that continues to fuel our fire today. It was a challenging year, but our grit and our role meant that we not only survived but we also truly held our own as a team,” he said.

In addition he said the growth the company realised over the 2017 financial year was underpinned by seasoned expertise and continued delivery on their strategy. “Excellence, as they say, is an attitude. But it is not enough simply to have an attitude of excellence when that excellence does not, in turn, extend to the customer: those who help make our business great.

For this reason, we are firm believers at Botswana Life in the fact that the great work of our team ought to be recognised and celebrated,” he said.

The much-coveted accolade of ‘Top Agent’ was awarded to Botlhale Makopa, who accepted the nod beaming with pride.

“This is an incredible honour and I am absolutely thrilled and humbled.

One works with conviction and determination to do one’s very best, and to have your peers and leadership of this great Botswana business recognise it in this way is something I could never have dreamed would become a reality,” she said.
