But it still remains hazy on which third team will accompany the duo to the First Division. The third relegation slot remains undecided but enticing to as many as four teams, who are fighting tooth and nail to avoid the drop.

As it stands, Nico United are the owners of number 14, the last relegation spot and would go down for the first time in eight seasons if they are unmoved.

But Nico have shown late resilience, with a 3-0 Easter weekend shellacking of Police XI sending a sound message that the troubled former mining town side, will not surrender without a fight.

Green Lovers, despite appearing doomed, dug in to emerge with a point from title chasing team-of-the-moment, Jwaneng Galaxy in a 1-1 stalemate.

Nico enjoy a five point cushion between them and Green Lovers and Hotspurs. But from 11th placed Miscellaneous down to Nico in 14th, its clustered but one has to eventual let go and drop down to the dusty grounds.

Sankoyo Bush Bucks, despite well documented off season challenges, took off the starting blocks in smart fashion, but have failed to grind results of late, which has seen them sucked into the relegation dogfight.

The Maun side, who were battered 3-0 by Extension Gunners last weekend, are on 23points, two ahead of Nico, but critically, hold a game in hand.

Gilport Lions, with a raft of promising changes at the start of the campaign, are 12th, on 24points and have a game in hand over Sankoyo and two over Nico.

Miscellaneous, who are realistically the last side in danger of going down, are level with Lions but a rung above in 11th, thanks to a superior goal difference.

Chiefs are the surprise dark relegation horse in 10th with 28points, but realistically, the four who are staring the relegation barrel are Nico, Sankoyo, Gilport and Miscellaneous, assuming Lovers and Hotspurs are already preparing for what should be familiar campaigns in the First Division North.

Hotspurs are the Premiership’s rookies, but are soon expected to be the First Division North’s newboys, while Lovers arrived in the then be MOBILE Premier League two seasons back.
