Comics and artists to roast Kast

The event dubbed, The Roast of Kast, will feature different roasters such as Luzboy, Rib Cracker, Mawee, Juju Vine, Dollar Mac, Mosako and Juju Boy. Media practitioner Daniel Kenosi will be the roast master.
“The comedians and artists will be making fun of Kast during the roast and at the end he will also make fun of them,” said Masie Hule the Tlatsa Lebala project manager.
Normally a roast works in such a way that the different roasters will be given a certain period of time to roast the main target. They do this one after the other and at the end the target gets to roast all the roasters.
Hule noted that the roast is one of the initiatives that they have lined up to raise funds for Tlatsa Lebala since they still do not have a sponsor and enough funds to stage the all-local line-up musical concert.
“The roast was motivated by how a number of people made fun of Kast just before the long walk. Now that he has walked they have run out of things to say.
As for the funds the ones we have at the moment can sustain us to host the event but we need more so we can have a high standard production”.
Hule noted that other initiatives to raise funds for the event are coming up well and next week they will be meeting up with potential sponsors which might even lead to them meeting an official sponsor.
Last week through the Tlatsa Lebala Facebook page it was announced that over 8,000 tickets have been sold and this week Hule said over 10,000 tickets have been sold. Their target is to sell 20,000 tickets and have 20,000 revellers fill up the National Stadium.
The Tlatsa Lebala performance line-up will be announced at the end of this week.
