Kenya side after three GU players

Zapata confirmed they are eyeing deals for the trio, as GU continue to face mounting financial challenges.

'We are in conversation with Dirang, Bonsu and Orebonye, but nothing yet,' Zapata told Mmegi Sport yesterday.

He said the challenge is that there are foreign players at AFC Leopards, and they will need to free spaces first.

However, it is reported that Orebonye has already turned down the opportunity to sign for Leopards, with Moloi, viewed as Zapata's priority signing.

GU have faced financial challenges in the second half of the season, and things came to a boil on Sunday when only eight players turned up for the match against Police XI.

The club has been charged for misconduct according to the BFA Play Rules and Regulations.
