Most if not all of the designers who showed their products at Avani Hotel on Friday, presented exquisite wears that could lure both local and international fashion gurus to buy locally designed brands.

The fashion show gave different designers a platform for their different products ranging from accessories, bags, evening dresses, pyjamas, suits, bikinis and more.

Each designer’s products had their own signature that differentiated them from others.

Those signatures were either by using a certain colour, fabric, texture or pattern.  Amongst the stunning designs were those of Boitumelo Seboko of Rosetta Stone who kickstarted the fashion show with her beautiful dresses, which were mostly highlighted with red silky material.  However, she also had different colours.

Molebogeng Malomo and Kealeboga Sebolai of Mollz and Kellz Designs painted the stage lime.

Their breathtaking designs blew the audience away.  One of the local fashion veterans, Mumsy Oremeng of Versatile Creations also proved to the amateur designers that she had what it took to be rated on of the best fashion designers in the local fashion industry with her stunning masterpieces.

Layara Markes of Bantukini who crotches bikinis had also shown tremendous growth.  She showcased both her old and new pieces that included high waist shorts with matching bras.

For the males, Lesley Mmolai of Les Wear X-Clusives dominated the male fashion industry with his elegant designs ranging from dungarees to suites.

Lame Chilume of Switch Couture, Betty Seatlholo of Angelina Bella Couture, Janet Sebolai of Pio Jay Couture, Natasha Tlagae of House of Noir and Kutlwano Seeletso of Naka Designs also showcased different and elegant pieces.

The fashion show could not have been complete without the confident and energetic local models.

The women could not stop screaming at the top of their voices whenever they saw three muscular male models that also stole female counterparts’ thunder. Still, the women also managed to do their part to amuse the revellers.

Former local talent show My Star winner, Motswafere treated the audience to a beautiful performance.  The energetic singer mesmerised the audience with his usual dance moves.

Meanwhile, Ban T saw it fit to treat the audience to some of his new songs.  He closed the show with his popular song, Naomi that got the audience dancing.

Kenneth Moeng together with his companion Tlotlo Rrasethabo spiced the event up with love poems from Moeng’s poetry book titled, The Peril of Saints.

Some of the international media companies that covered the event include BET A-List, SABC and others.
