Rollers play rivals, Extension Gunners at the National Stadium, while just a few metres away, Galaxy face Mochudi Centre Chiefs at the UB Stadium. Rollers hold a two-point advantage over Galaxy heading into the last fixture of the season. Gunners and Chiefs have secured their places in the league after below par displays this season while on the low, they missed out on a top eight finish.

The league title has been a possession of Rollers and Chiefs for close to a decade, creating a fierce rivalry between the two teams. Chiefs' general manager, Clifford Mogomotsi said his side would not do Galaxy any favours. He said the pressure would certainly be on the title contenders and the rivalry between them and Popa would not matter on the evening.

'We will not do anyone any favours. We are team of professionals, we have achieved what we wanted by avoiding relegation so we will just play our normal game,' he said. Mogomotsi is however, aware that Galaxy has been their hoodoo team with their last victory, back in December 2015. But he insisted that statistics would not matter tonight. 'We are not intimated by what happened in the past, yes they have been beating us for some time now but this will be different. Look, we have been in the same situation before and nobody did us any favours, why should we? We will not give anyone the league on a silver platter just like that,' Mogomotsi said.

On paper, Popa have the upper hand over Galaxy as the majority of their players have won the title before.

But Galaxy’s veteran defender, Boitumelo Mafoko has lifted the trophy before, during his time Rollers. Galaxy will need a win and hope for loss or draw for Popa as they have a better goal difference. But it would be difficult for both sides as their evening's opponents would be laying for pride.

Kick-off for both games is 8pm.
