After their sterling performances, helping their side win a double this season, defender, Mosha Gaolaolwe and attacking midfielder-cum striker, Edwin Moalosi will battle each other for the most prestigious award, Player of the season. They have also been pitted against Jwaneng Galaxy’s enterprising midfielder, Gilbert Baruti. Baruti was instrumental for his side this past season although his side only managed to settle for the second position in the league. The trio will also battle it out for the Players’ player of the season award.

In the goalkeeper of the season, Rollers’ Keegaile Kgosipula will compete against Ezekiel Morake of Galaxy as well as Orapa United’s Kaelo Joseph. Kavazovic’s achievements in his first season in local football have also been recognised and nominated for the coach of the season award alongside former Gaborone United coach, Rodolfo Zapata and Oris Radipotsane of Miscellaneous. Kitso Mangala (BDF XI), Resaobaka Thatanyane (Miscellaneous) and Oabona Mangope (Gilport Lions) have been nominated for the Young player of the season award. GU striker, Thatayaone Kgamanyane will walk away with the top goalscorer award. He scored a total of 20 goals in his first season at GU. The award ceremony has been scheduled for June 22.
