Commonwealth Secretariat confers a prestigious award to Seretse

 

The Centre was established by the Commonwealth Secretariat, in partnership with Government of Botswana, in 2013. Commonwealth Africa member states continue to significantly benefit from the Centre’s numerous Anti-Corruption programmes and tangible capacity improvements have been realized by the Anti-Corruption agencies.

The Centre is the only avenue dedicated for systematic and quality capacity building available to the management and staff Anti-Corruption Agencies in Africa.

The award was presented to her at the 8th Commonwealth Conference of Heads of Anti-Corruption Agencies in Africa in Tanscorp Hilton, Abuja, Nigeria from14 – 18 May 2018. 

Currently Rose Seretse is the Chief Executive Officer at Botswana Energy Regulatory Authority which is responsible for providing a regulatory framework for Electricity, Gas, Coal, Petroleum Products, Solar and all forms of renewable energy with the primary mandate of providing the economic regulation of the sectors.

The Authority started its operations on the 1st September 2017 in Lobatse.
