Most performances did not start until later and the few people who were there were scattered around the place which was filled up by Vee last December.

It was no surprise to see many people not pitching up to the festival because the HeForShe game between Rollers and Platinum Stars was also happening at the same time at the National Stadium.

Even though some people did not know about it, the event was meant to bid farewell to the summer season. However, the few who came to the Piazza to see their local artists perform were not that disappointed because the artists gave it their all.

MMP Family did their usual impression on the stage, but it was Kast who added more life when he went on stage with his Se fitlhile sejabana song.

Kast, who recently completed his 1,000km walk from Maun to Gaborone, was a popular figure in the crowd mainly because of his recent heroics. Kast performed his well known songs like O ntse ole kae, Ndono and Bantuka.

He sealed his performance with a song called Wamo tseba Kast which he said was recorded in a tent during his walk.

Han C of Sedi laka fame also showed that he can bring his magic on stage by performing alongside Team Distant. The singer, who is currently working on his debut album, performed a new Team Distant song called Changes in which he is featured.

He also gave a sample of what he is working on by singing a song entitled Cairo from his upcoming project.

Amantle, who recently arrived from a short stint in South Africa with Jujuboy, also gave it her all despite the poor crowd she was interacting with.

The Black mampatile singer who recently told Showtime that she wants to test waters in SA performed Follo alongside Jujuboy of Hurt me fame. Ban T who left Zen Promotions last week also performed with Faded Gang in another heated up performance. Other artists and DJs on the line-up were on top notch despite the low turnout.
