If he passes his medicals, the winger will follow in the footsteps of his Zebras teammates Thatayaone Kgamanyane and Kabelo Seakanyeng, who recently sealed three-year deals with the Port Elizabeth-based Chippa United. Orapa United’s vice chairman, Kennekae Nkape confirmed Highlands Park’s interest. Nkape said they have not held talks with Highlands Park and that would be opened after the medicals. Ramoraka’s contract with the Ostriches elapses in 2020.

He is expected to be joined by Gaborone United striker, Tumisang ‘Teenage’ Orebonye.

“Teenage is going to Highlands Park for assessment, particularly his fitness levels. After 14 days in Potchefstroom, the club will make a decision on him,” the player’s representative, Olebile Sikwane said.

The other Orapa player to star at the COSAFA Cup, Onkabetse Makgantai has not received any formal offers, despite reported interest. Mankgantai won the golden boot with five goals.

Meanwhile, former Township Rollers assistant coach, Mogomotsi ‘Teenage’ Mpote could be headed to Orapa United. Mpote was spotted in a meeting with Orapa chairperson, Thatayaone Sithole and his assistant Kennekae Nkape in Orapa on Tuesday. Mmegi Sport is in good authority that the meeting went well and Teenage could be unveiled soon. Teenage chose to reserve his comment but said there has been a number of inquiries, including Orapa United.

“I cannot deny meeting any club, I have held discussions with a number of them, but it is premature to share anything from my meetings. But, I am not ruling anything out,” he said. United’ spokesperson Kabo William confirmed the club held talks with Teenage for the post of assistant coach, but a decision has not been made.

Mpote  is expected to replace Daniel Nare who left under a cloud to join Security Systems. “We believe with his experience, Mpote would add value to our club, but a final decision will be taken by the executive on Wednesday,” William said.
