Church donates blankets to underprivileged nonagenarians

The church founders, Prophet Daniel and Apostle Thandiwe Morupisi doled out the blankets over the weekend.
The beneficiaries of the donations were elderly people whose ages ranged from 93 to 97 years. To the beneficiaries, the donations came at a better time when some of them were badly battered by the winter, as they could not afford more blankets.
Giving a synopsis of the event, Prophet Morupisi cracked a joke that it was common with elderly people that as they got older they fear that God has forsaken them, especially when they experience life’s difficulties.
“God will still keep you for a purpose even in old age,” Morupisi said reminding the elderly of the Biblical story of Abraham who lived longer during his time. He encouraged the nonagenarians to have a relationship with God so that they can live comfortably and happily with their maker.
One of the recipients of the blankets, Robert Kala was elated that the church had found it fit to identify him and rescue him from his state of lack.
“I am elated that the church has helped me with a blanket that I could not afford although I needed it so badly in this winter period,” Kala appreciated the donation. He wished there could be continuity.
The underprivileged nonagenarians were also showered with food hampers and a promise that the church will continue to keep an eye on them and provide assistance where it can.
Prophet Daniel and Apostle Thandiwe Morupisi also provided prayer to the excited elderly people and residents of Satellite and emphasised that indeed the church has a role to play in changing the lives of the people.
