Amantle Brown was invited along with Jujuboy and the duo managed to get interviews at Trans Africa Radio and Touch Central radio stations.  They also performed at two clubs.

The duo recently released a Naija-inspired single titled Follo and it has been on rotation receiving positive feedback from the public.

The Black Mampatile singer told Showbiz that she plans on moving to South Africa for a while to push her passion.

She highlighted that she would not stay in SA permanently because she still has commitments in Botswana as she still gets booked locally.

“It won’t be long, it will possibly be for three months or so,” she said.

She aims to penetrate mainstream music both locally and internationally.

Amantle Brown said Notshi Management was impressed with their work and they are currently in talks to map a way forward.

Even though she did not say whether they were interested in signing her or not, speculation is rife that the talented singer might get an offer soon.

Amantle Brown who was performing with Jujuboy at a club called, The Booth said the South African audience was impressed with their performance.

“The reception was amazing,” she highlighted. She said even though Follo has not been there for long, people have been making requests and the song is also doing well in the music charts.

Amantle Brown said she has recorded a lot of songs, adding that she does not plan on recording an album anytime soon.

“You can release an album, but Batswana have a tendency to listen to the only song they like in that particular record,” she said.

With Follo now making waves in SA, it will probably benefit from the significantly untapped African market for music.

While her talent speaks for itself, Amatle Brown is surely excellent at marketing and promoting herself evidenced by the exported Afro beat music collaboration with Jujuboy.

It is no surprise because the exportation of Nigerian music to other countries is increasing.
