The single features Francistown hip-hop artists Klasick and Luna. Cloud9 is a tropical hip-hop type of song with a feel of R’nB. The album was produced by Yarona FM Music Awards (YAMA) award winning hip-hop artist B-Block. “I titled my song Cloud9 because I am always happy and jolly.

The word Cloud9 is usually used to describe a happy and cheerful character. I wanted the title that will resonate with my character which is why I went for Cloud9,” he said “This is the kind of song that will be played in parties, chilling sessions and clubs. It is for the young and the vibrant,” he said.

One of the lines in the track even goes like “if you are young and vibrant, let's go cloud9”. All the lyrics strongly tally with the well-arranged hip-hop and R’nB instrumentals. Perhaps a suggestion that the song might resonate well with many listeners and draw them in.

Molebi said he entered the local music scene in 2000 as a fresh face 20-year-old. “I was inspired by DJ O’Neal, not only because he was doing his job diligently on Gabs FM but also because we grew up together. We used to share knowledge and experience in relation to our music work.”

The multi-talented Molebi has a DJ slot on RB2 weekend chillers show. The show airs between 11:45am and 12noon. Furthermore, he was a nominee in the best hip-hop DJ category at the 2017 YAMA awards.

Over the years he has also played in several high profile music festivals around the country among them the annual Toropo ya Muka Music Festival.

Although he has been in the music industry for a while, Molebi said that he still faces a number of challenges, including lack of support from some nightclub owners, whom he said at times, pay him a pittance.
