Distell Botswana, Lengau Wine bring Gaborone Wine Experience

 

Botswana's biggest wine distributor Distell Botswana, in conjunction with Lengau Wine Company will be hosting the Gaborone Wine Experience on July 28 at AVANI Gaborone Resort & Casino where a collection of superlative quality, award-winning wines from several boutique estates situated in and around the Cape Winelands will be showcased.

With 10 wine brands, mouth-watering appetizers, 3 wine makers from Alto, Durbanville Hills, Nederburg guiding the tasting for their respective brands, local entertainment, a brandy distiller and a world-renowned barrel maker, this is an event any wine lover cannot afford to miss. Each brand will have a stall curated to deliver a unique brand experience.

Wine enthusiasts at the event can expect to taste over 30 wine varietals from firm-favourites and premiums like Alto, Durbanville Hills, Fleur du Cap, JC Le Roux, Nederburg, Plaisir de Merle, Pongracz, Vibrazio, Zonnebloem, Klipdrift Premium and Van Ryns 15yo and 20yo brandy.

The perfect accompaniment to any meal, any occasion and every mood, these wine brands have collectively received some of the world’s most recognized awards, including Quality Award for International Wine & Spirits Competition, Decanter World Wine Awards, Platters for Diners Wine of the Year Award, one of the Most Admired Wines by Drinks International to mention but a few.

The wine makers will be showcasing food pairings and educating attendants about the wine making process and wine etiquette.

With a wide selective of varietals from the wineries, the Gaborone Wine Experience will sure have something for everyone and every taste. Guests will have the opportunity to buy selected wines on the day. Tickets are now available at Webtickets and Spar Kiosks in Gaborone for P150 per person including a glass and 20 tasting coupons.
