Police accused in Setlampoloka killing acquitted & discharged

Earlier today, the outgoing Gaborone High Court Judge, Leatile Dambe delivered the ruling setting the accused Thuso Dintwe, Rantao Mmereki, Tebogo Khutsafalo, Kabo Ramohibidu, Michael Ramohitshane and Patrick Gobotswang free.

Dambe ruled that the police officers had no case to answer and that they were not responsible for the murder of Setlampoloka.

The six were charged with murder, giving false information to a person employed in the public service among other charges.
