Once again, Masisi flirted with his object of desire at a poorly attended BDP rally in Tlokweng on Saturday when he made his wild dreams of capturing the gargantuan political figure into the BDP kraal known.

Masisi who has positioned himself as the chief recruiter at the BDP, has been praised for his effort by none other than  President Ian Khama.  This was after Masisi was accused of always being seen on television welcoming new members to the BDP and not carrying out Vice Presidential duties. The President urged him on at the Youth Wing congress in Tsabong recently.

Masisi drooled; “When we were talking about the Electronic Voting Machine (EVM), Gaolathe said the machine was good, which led to him to being hated by the UDC members for telling the truth. He is ours, we want him. This year won’t end, and I know what I am talking about. I always tell this to Boko that I am taking Gaolathe,” he said. “Ndaba’s thoughts resemble those of his late father. His ideas stem from the BDP. Recently, when commenting on the Budget speech, he copied our ideas from a delegation I had led to Harvard.”

“Exactly what we are doing now,” he continued. It was not the first time Masisi declared his admiration for Gaolathe.

He has on numerous occasions publicly declared that he will pursue Gaolathe to join the BDP as he is the only credible opposition legislator. President Khama has also recently showed a soft spot for Gaolathe, stating that he felt for him as he was being mistreated at UDC. He said Gaolathe deserved to be UDC president as his party, the BMD has the most legislators in Parliament.

Meanwhile, Katse promised the small crowd  to deliver the constituency he lost with only 17 votes in 2009. “I have in the past led preparations for coronation of our Kgosi and his wedding.

I am also the leader of Batlokwa Development Trust. All these I delivered exceptionally well and that is what I will continue doing,” he said.  Katse will face off with UDC’s Kenneth Segokgo on a date yet to be set by the President to replace the Tlokweng legislator, Same Bathobakae who died late last year.
