Tsotso To Go On Loan Again

Speaking to journalists after his side lost 1-0 to Township Rollers in an international club friendly match played on Saturday evening, Mosimane admitted that Tsotso is struggling to break into the star-studded side and could once again be sent on loan. “He is still our player, struggling to fit in and we have to do what we have to do. So, probably we will give him a chance somewhere else, so it becomes a loan.”
“He must also want to play, he must fight for his place. We have to help him, but he also must help himself, this thing is both ways. He must show that he really wants it, he is up against very good football players,” Mosimane said.
“On the wings he is up against Sirino, Themba Zwane and Toni Silva and as a number 10 he is up against (Sibusiso) Vilakazi and also you must understand that it was a little bit difficult for him because Percy Tau and Khama Billiat were there, he could not find the space, it is not easy when those guys are there in the last two years.”
Since signing from Platinum Stars in 2013, Tsotso failed to cement a place for himself in Mosimane’s starting line up. He has since been out on loans with stints at Platinum Stars, BidVest Wits where he won the league title and recently Supersport United in January.
He last played for Downs in December where he came in as a substitute. According to various South African publications, the 27-year-old has since asked to leave as he sees playing minutes hard to come by.
Ngele remains Botswana’s greatest export to the PSL as he won two consecutive league titles with Wits and Downs. He won a cup double with Platinum Stars in the 2013-2014 season.
Tsotso also won a double, when Sundowns won the MTN 8 cup and the league title. Locally, Ngele has won the Mascom Top 8 with Township Rollers and won a runners medal of the Coca Cola 2010-2011 season with Uniao Flamengo Santos.
