Troubled Kgatleng side, Mochudi Centre Chiefs are expected to make wholesome technical team changes in a bid to address their slide following a dreadful season.
Magosi have lost head coach, Maxwell Moyo to Sharps Shooting Stars after helping the former league champions to safety as they settled for an unfamiliar, ninth spot, missing out on the top eight for the first time in 10 seasons.
Information reaching Mmegi Sport is that, after losing the well-travelled Moyo to an ambitious Sharps team, Chiefs will bring a totally new technical team with assistant coaches, Innocent Morapedi and Pontsho Moloi heading for the exit door.
The Kgatleng giants are said to be in talks with former Sua Flamingos coach, Dominic Changwe to spearhead the team in the new season. Changwe has been without a job after parting ways with the first division side and is eyeing an elite league job he last held when he was at the helm of forgotten FC Satmos four seasons ago.
Efforts to source a comment from Chiefs were not successful as the club spokesperson, Clifford Mogomotsi’s mobile number rang answered at press time.
Meanwhile, Moyo will fill the vacant position at Sharps, which has been left by Mike Sithole who is heading to Police XI. Sithole was appointed Sharps’ head coach mid-way through the last season following the departure of Keitumetse Paul but has been on the team’s technical area as he awaited his work permit, leaving his assistant, Michael Mogaladi to lead the side for the majority of the games.
As for the Jungle Kings, they have parted ways with the long serving coach, Sthandwa Mogwadi after avoiding relegation by just a point.
Former Township Rollers technical advisor, Dragojlo Stanojlovic who was one of the front-runners for the vacant Gaborone United head coach post, is said to have failed to agree terms with the broke side. The Reds have been without a head coach since April following the departure of Rodolfo Zapata.
