He said during his reign, he would be regularly giving toiletry to prisoners and motivational talks.

He said he decided to do this because he had realised that convicts are in most cases abandoned by their family members once they are detained in prisons and therefore feel unloved and lonely when serving their jail term.

“These people are already serving their punishment and for them to change into better and responsible members of the society. We have to give them a second chance in life,” he said.

He added that he would also be working on his charity organisation called Seas of Smile where he would be assisting homeless and children living with different illnesses to cater for their needs.

He said he wants to help and make positive impact into the lives of other people irrespective of their age, gender and social background.

With his crowning, Kgaolo gains automatic right to represent the country at one of the international pageants namely; Mister Universal Ambassador in India, Mister Africa International in London, or Mister Heritage in Mauritius.

However, he said he is eyeing Mister African International and that his runner-ups will choose between the remaining ones.

He vowed to present Botswana to his best ability.

He thanked his employer, family, friends, KeNo Suits and Mister Gaborone for offering him a platform to make him shine.

He encouraged young men to partake in initiatives such as Mister Gaborone so that they could also lead by example, be actively engaged in making an impact in their communities and building themselves good profiles.
