After Ozi F Teddy picked a fight with a female emcee Sasa Klaas, the latter came back fiercer on Tuesday by releasing a diss track entitled 24. This comes a week after the controversial rapper Ozi F Teddy threw shade on local female rappers saying they are sleeping on their job.

In the three and half minutes track, Sasa Klaas ethers the controversial Ozi F Teddy by revealing all the skeletons in his closet.

However, ether in this case has nothing to do with colourless liquids or the sky. Ether was one of the best diss records from American rapper Nas aimed at Jay Z in 2001.

It represented the type of hatred the two rappers had for each other and the word ether later became a term for diss tracks.

When Remy MA roasted Nicki Minaj in the recent publicised track entitled Shether, she used Nas’s ether instrumental to emphasise her point.

Now back home to Sasa Klaas’s diss track, other rappers like ATI did not respond to Ozi F Teddy’s recent fired shots but the female rapper did not shy away from participating in this rich hip-hop tradition.

Sasa is probably the first woman in Botswana hip-hop to beef and her diss track to Ozi F Teddy is different especially that it is personal.

The Mmamongwato rapper insults Ozi F Teddy left, right and centre. She says Ozi F Teddy is hungry for fame and should have been a member of the notorious Kardashian family.

“Don’t make me expose the sh** you used say about Dilla, You wanna run with Faded now cause your sh** ain’t popping, you wanna talk about my family on the Internet, but I was feeding your family before you had a cent,” she brutally expressed herself.

Sasa Klaas goes on to say that Ozi F Teddy is a broke rapper who only paid with sex during their one and a half year romantic relationship.

“People are getting it all wrong because this thing was not initially a diss track to Ozi, I was talking about different subjects, also proving that female rappers can spit dope bars.

I had to include Ozi because I was fed up with him saying bad stuff about female rappers. He continues to show his sexism character and he has previously said something about my family which offended me,” Sasa Klaas told Showbiz in an interview.

Sasa Klaas noted that it is her responsibility as a female rapper when someone talks bad about female rappers. Over the past three years Ozi F Teddy has had a run on Sasa Klaas as he continuously said offensive things about her on social media, which the latter has regarded as cyber bullying.

He has even gone to the extent of recording a song called Same ho*s where he calls out names of people such as Ban T and Nijel Amos who are rumored to have dated Sasa Klaas.

“Back then I wasn’t responding to him because it was not worth it but when he started talking about my family and female rappers I felt offended, he is always bullying female rappers. He has shown lack of gratitude. I used to look after him buying food for his family and giving him pocket money,” she said.

The female rapper vividly noted that she does not have any hard feelings towards Ozi F Teddy but wishes he grows up and be more responsible.

As for Ozi F Teddy he has been rebelliously known for bashing people online with Sasa Klaas being one of the main people. The post which angered Sasa Klaas the most read, “Aint no female Rappers in BW... these female rappers all Asleep... ALL A** & NO BARS... Only female rapper I respect is ATI, (sic)”.

Even though he was ethered by a female rapper, the diss track seemed to have been a turn on for Ozi F Teddy who got what he always wanted, a better response. “Just so you know, I am not busy,” he said on his Facebook page.

The post was an assurance to his fans that he is going to respond to the diss unlike ATI who said he was busy. Fans have given Ozi F Teddy 48 hours to respond. Efforts to reach the rapper from Thamaga were futile as his phone rang unanswered. Within only 24 hours of release the song had close to 20,000 downloads.

Battling and beef has been a part of hip-hop culture from the onset and women have always participated. Comparably Eminem and Mariah Carey’s long feud and diss tracks are a critical example of what happens when musician’s relationship go wrong.
