Mohohlo is now UB chancellor

This is effect from July 19, 2018 to June 18, 2023. According to a press release from the Ministry of Tertiary Education, Research, Science and Technology, Mohohlo was the governor of BoB and ex-officio non-executive director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for Botswana, for a period of 17 years to 2016.
Following a 23-year career with the bank, during which she served in a number of operational and policy areas.
She is currently deputy chairperson of the UB Foundation Board of Trustees.
She works for the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry as coordinator of SPEDU programme, the position which came into being at the end of 2016, to coordinate efforts of attracting investment to the SPEDU region, for the purpose of generating employment opportunities to replace the jobs lost when the BCL and Tati Nickel Mines closed.
