CRC to host a harvest event

After attracting more than 3,500 people last year and 800 committing their lives to Jesus Christ, CRC is trusting God for over 6,000 people and 1,500 giving their lives to God.

“This is not our first one, we’ve had harvest events in this auditorium, Boipuso Hall, Limkokwing Hall and last year for the first time at the National Stadium, which we are going back to this year,” Senior Pastor and host of CRC Gaborone Pastor JJ van Rooyen said in a press conference recently.

Rooyen said they have this event annually as CRC, not just in Gaborone but also in cities across the world. He said they do it to give people a chance to know God.

“What better way than for them to come to a church service and begin that journey. We do in such a big scale so we can ensure that everyone has a chance to come and be impacted,” he said.

He emphasised that right from the start, with a world class opening, dynamic Praise and Worship, and a powerful sermon by the visionary founder of Visionary, Pastor At Boshoff, the nation will have a chance to hear the Word of God and respond to it by giving their lives to Christ and are free, thereafter get planted in the local church.

“Harvest events are open to everyone. Last year we even had some of our Cabinet ministers present, business owners from South Africa and our very own Batswana that came and were impacted,” he said.  Rooyen said Boshoff would bring a relatable and passionate sermon from the Word of God that will lift many people up and give them hope for a better tomorrow just as the Holy Bible says.  “We are all excited about it. We should be hope restorers, be Good News preachers, lift people up, pray for the government, not criticise it, and that is exactly why he’s excited to come preach in Botswana on that night.”

CRC is a global church, with a global vision started by Ps At Boshoff in Bloemfontein, South Africa in 1994.
