Leshie Lovesong to perform at Naked Soul Sessions

Naked Soul Session is an event that focuses on live music performances and different artists are featured every month and Leshie Lovesong will be the guest at the event for the very first time.
Songbird Mpho Sebina spearheads the event in a bid to promote local musicians and headline their own shows.
In an interview with Showbiz, Leshie Lovesong said she would be celebrating 10 years as a performer. The talented entertainer who first bust on to the scene in 2007 as member of Exodus Live Poetry has been staging musical, theatrical and poetic acts for the past decade.
Leshie Lovesong said she would do an hour-long performance during the event.
She also said she would be sharing new stuff and also staging performances for everyone who supported her in the last decade.
The event used to be hosted at Bier Baron and has now moved to The No1 Ladies Coffee House.
“It’s a place that I like and it’s inspiring,” she said.
Leshie Lovesong said being an artist in Botswana has honed her skills and now all she wants to do is keep working. “Batswana want to see growth and they don’t want someone who repeats the same thing over and over again,” she highlighted.
The performer who is a lawyer by profession said she has come to realise that Batswana honour great artists. She encouraged people who witnessed her growth to come and see her perform at Naked Soul Sessions.
“For the first time ever it will be an interactive set and people will have a chance to ask me questions in between my set,” she said.
She said she would host her own show in August in celebration of her 10 years in the performing arts industry. The ticket for the Naked Soul Sessions event is P80 and the show starts at 7pm.
