Thieves blow up ATM

The SCB ATM is located at the light industrial area at a building housing Ba Isago University near Mater Spei College.
The station commander for Francistown police, Superintendent Lebalang Maniki confirmed the incident.
However, details of what happened were still sketchy yesterday at the time of going to press as Maniki said that their investigations were still ongoing.
“We suspect that the culprits have used explosives to blow up the ATM in a bid to steal money. Our investigations are still ongoing and at this stage, we have not arrested anyone in connection with the blast,” Maniki said.
Although Maniki said that their investigations are still ongoing, a police source close to the investigations said that the thieves have not managed to steal any cash from the ATM.
