Braveheart, in collaboration with Joyous Celebration made sure that the gospel music fanatics got the best performance with mesmerising sounds, mind-blowing production, perfect lighting and the distinct Joyous flavour.

As it is a norm, Joyous Celebrations treated its fans with energetic, breathtaking and brilliant performances that have made the ensemble a household name it has become.

As all the praise and worship songs touched the audience, some could not help it but sing and dance along to their favourite hymns.

Some of the songs that brought the Holy Spirit in the realm of the Christian community include Ngiyavuma, Amagama Medley, Angiyi Ndawo and others.

Tshepo Nkadimeng, a talented visually impaired member of the choir also treated the audience to his brilliant vocals.

Nkadimeng sang some of the famous hymns like Letsu La Gago, Dumelang Bana Ba Ntate and others.

His magical voice filled the whole indoor sports arena as the Holy Spirit touched the audience.

The concert dubbed Live Changing concert was indeed appropriate, as it seemed like the event touched every single soul that attended it.

In a press conference prior to the show, founder of Joyous Celebration, Lindelani Mkhize explained that this year’s theme ‘All For You’ was an appreciation of the music lovers who have shown them support and love over the past 22 years.

He said everything they would do this year is dedicated to Joyous supporters.

Indeed, the show verified his claims as the concert simply exceeded their fans’ expectations.

He said it had been long overdue for the choir to come and perform in the country.

He promised that the event would be beyond life changing, as they will give their best on stage.

He called Batswana, both young and old to come in large numbers and witness their live performance.

He said he hoped their relationship with Braveheart would last so that they could bring the concert to the country annually.

“We aspire to be better than who we were yesterday and ensure that we give the greatest and most phenomenal shows that surpass expectations,” he said.

Joyous Celebration has been making spiritual and emotional connections with their audiences through every performance, with equal parts laughter and tears.

With their modern spin on traditional hymns, this larger-than-life group has been a revolving platform for fresh talent since 1996.

They’ve sold more than three million albums and DVDs, won numerous awards, including Best Gospel Event of the Year at the 2013 Africa Music Awards in London.

Their soaring choral arrangements are a Sunday staple for countless households in Southern Africa and beyond.
