Thea Khama did not respond to The Monitor’s attempt to get  the authenticity of the post which dismissed  Bissau’s overtures as  a complete departure to what he was previously known for, “and still in certain circles I have heard is still known for”.

After Bissau posted a picture of himself and Minister Tshekedi Khama happy together in suits and ties, the Minister’s wife made it known she wouldn’t like Bissau near her husband, describing him as “a man of questionable honour”.

Bissau got a dose of Thea Khama’s fire after he appeared on Facebook in a picture with her husband, both laughing, as he launched a war on drugs and a rehabilitation centre to be christened “Tshekedi-Bissau” before he went on radio to promote the collaboration, something that got Thea enraged as she blasted Bissau for taking advantage of her husband’s generosity for a selfie.

An angry Thea claimed that a man of questionable honour walked into the Minister’s office, asked for a happy picture with the Minister, which he then posted all over social media announcing they were going into business together without telling, “my husband about it”.

“Then the guy goes on radio to speak about his new venture (a complete departure to what he was previously known for and even in certain circles I have heard is still known for…)”

She rubbed it in, “ Would you trust your child’s life, your family, your friend, with such a person?”

Several facebookers have since screen-munched Thea’s rant and copied it onto Bissau’s social media wall asking for his comment, but he had not reacted by end of the weekend.

Thea herself would soon delete the post about Bissau, but not before several facebookers had screen-munched it and shared it all over social media.

It was not Thea alone who questioned Bissau’s war on drugs, with reputable lawyer Kgosi Ngakaagae also dismissing the project as a national security risk.

Ngakaagae wondered why Tshekedi and Bissau would want to take over the responsibility of highly trained and specialised law enforcement agencies.

He also warned that such a route could put at risk many people who would try to expose the drug peddlers to Bissau for the reward of P500.

Everything appeared to be taking off well soon after Bissau posted his message with a picture of him and Tshekedi happy together in suits.

Then a raving interview with the tabloid The Voice and morning show interview with Robbie Rob at Yarona FM seemed to indicate all was in cruise mode, until the Minister’s wife came hard on the man.
