ODLM initiated the GM’s walk in 2002 with the aim of improving the lives of people around the Boteti region.

He said that the funds raised during the walk, would be donated to Tsienyane Primary School particularly to benefit children who live with intellectual disabilities in the school.

Hule said they found it fit to help these children because currently the unit dealing with their condition is facing many challenges.

Hule indicated that with the new project they are going to revamp the intellectual disability unit at the school to make it more user-friendly to the students.

He further said that they are also going refurnish the bathroom so that the disabled students can easily utilise them.

“We are also going to assist the students with disabilities with assistive technology tools which can help them succeed in the classroom,” he said.

On board to provide entertainment on the day will be renowned local entertainers such as Lizibo, DJ Sly and DJ Gouvieya.

He said that they choose Rakops area to carry out the CSR because ODLM is located near the area.
