The Redd’s Chill Step Sundays is an art and cultural experience where a pop up art gallery exhibits every last Sunday of each month. Designers, fine artists, photographers and crafts people get together to share their story through art.

According to Orange Botswana public relations officer, Boga Chilinde-Masebu, the Orange Bonatla and Botswerere women’s corporate gift challenge is an annual initiative from the Orange foundation aimed at encouraging women led businesses.

“Through Orange, AH Designs, a l00% woman owned business got the opportunity to showcase their work, market themselves to a new crowd as well as interact with and establish new contracts in the market,” she said.

Chilinde-Masebu said that Raditladi emerged the winner after designing a leather laptop bag with Orange being her first clients by giving her a P100,000 tender to supply them with the leather bags.

“The glove fitting bag appealed to the evaluation committee and stood out setting itself apart as it is fashionable and useful and will surely appeal to Orange stakeholders. The feedback we are receiving from our stakeholders thus far is that they love it,” she said.

In addition she said that the AH Designers laptop bag is not only a fashionable accessory as it is also useful.

On her part the winner Raditladi expressed her gratitude towards Orange for according her an opportunity to market her designs adding that she will utilise it.

“This has been an experience and a half and I am grateful to Orange for their continuous support and even more grateful for the opportunity to have been able to showcase my work to a whole new crowd. This has been a great marketing platform for me and I am hoping that the contacts established today will pay off in future,” she said.
