Even though the Oseka bora moreki hitmaker was the main headliner, Vee Mampeezy showed the Limpopo artist why he has been the most relevant artist in Botswana for more than a decade.

Vee arrived on stage full of energy and his dancers kept climbing stage rafters as usual displaying their dance stunts. The man from Hukuntsi started his performance with the song, Happy and HCC fans gathered around the stage after being dispersed during King Monada’s performance. Vee kept the ball rolling with Suffer, another song from his Supernatural Vol.2 album. Clad in black while dancers were all in white Vee Mampeezy managed to attract the crowd’s attention with devilish dance moves.

Vee Mampeezy also reminded his crowd what he had been doing for them all these years by performing his previous hits. From Taku Taku, Letlhale, Monwana, Go Swa Motho, Zaza to Baba, Vee took the HCC fans back in time and proved why he is the best artist to come out of Botswana. Vee who is currently nominated for the Metro FM awards also showed his versatility by performing his disco (splash) songs like Siya Senzela a song in which he features South African Disco legend Dan Tshanda. While his dancers were attempting the pantsula moves, Vee said even though he lives in suburbs now, disco also reminds him of the kasi life. The Ola Kasi hitmaker officially took the crown from King Monada and sealed his performance by giving a snippet of his upcoming album to be released this December.

King Monada on the other hand came before Vee but it looked like his relevance had gone with the festive season.

HCC appreciation party did not boast a large crowd’s but their interaction with the man who was the talk of the town during the holidays was disappointing. Oseka Bora Moreki was the only song the crowd knew from the Limpopo artist but King Monada managed to introduce a possible hit called Pelo Yaka.

DJ Izzy and DJ Fresh also kept the crowd on their knees while Loungo anchored the whole show from start to end.
