Sankoyo Bush Bucks are yet to taste victory this season

Having managed to survive relegation in the past two seasons, the Maun-based side looks set to fight another battle this season. They have only managed to accumulate two points so far with five losses and two draws. They have scored just seven goals and conceded a whooping 17 goals.

This past Saturday, they travelled all the way from Maun only to find Black Forest in a mean mood. It was the second victory for Magoleng, as Black Forest are popularly known to their supporters.  The victory took them to position 10 while Sankoyo remained rooted at the bottom of the log standings.

GU also took a long trip to Orapa and lost 3-1, leaving them in a precarious situation.

Orapa United are now breathing heavily on log leaders, Township Rollers’ nape. Despite a slow start to the season, The Ostriches seem to have found their form at the right time. Bongani Mafu’s side have now won six matches and collected 19 points.

Rollers are sitting at the top with 19 points, but have played one less game than Orapa United. Jwaneng Galaxy’s run suffered a slight dent on Saturday when they drew 1-1 with Sharps Shooting Stars in Jwaneng.

They are now trailing log leaders by four points. New comers, Prisons XI registered their first win of the season against another Premier League returnee, BR Highlanders.
