Whether you are a vegetarian, chocoholic, or aspiring home brewer, there’s always something for everybody, perfectly prepared to satisfy your longing.

Musa Mhlasi is a 30-year-old self-taught chef who is ready to forever ignite the taste buds of his customers.

The gentleman is from Sebina but was born in Francistown. Mhlasi believes in customer satisfaction and is always grateful when his clients promise to return business.

“I absolutely enjoy serving people and making my clients special by taking their palettes on a journey of flavours. It is always a great pleasure when customer satisfaction is high,” he said.

He noted that he does not box himself to certain type of food although he loves Asian and Italian flavours. “I love the challenge of cooking something I have never cooked before. I love how it has introduced me to different people,” Mhlasi said.

His cooking comes in different forms, from experimental recipes to designing how the meal is going to look in a plate to seeing the sheer pleasure on someone’s face when they eat.

He uses different plating techniques and likes playing with his food making it look more colourful. “You eat with your eyes, food has to be attractive. I enjoy using different plating techniques to make my food colourful and appealing to customers,” he noted.

Mhlasi is the founder and owner of Food with a Foodie restaurant, which he started 2-years-ago as a side hustle.

“I have been cooking since I was seven and I have been fairly good at it all my life, but it is only about three to four years ago when I started taking it seriously,” he explained.

First and foremost, Mhlasi is a self-taught chef and is not confined to the technicalities that come with being a chef full time and running the catering company. “I have worked as advertising and sales personnel so I have really good client relationship management skills. He said  that the business has been doing well.
