Sesinyi�s Solitary Strike Sinks Sankoyo

Thabang Sesinyi's goal was enough vies for Galaxy FC to beat fighting Sankoyo Bush Bucks

Sesinyi proved the difference in a fierce encounter as both teams showed the tenacity to grab a win.

Although the game started slowly, Sankoyo gave a strong rear guard action, making it difficult for the home side to penetrate.

Former Orapa United attacker, Sesinyi found the all important goal after receiving a brilliant pass from Thero Setsile in the 42nd minute.

Before the celebrations could die down, Thabo Leinanyana, Sesinyi and Christopher Musonda combined well but failed to find the second goal.

The rain-soaked second half started with Galaxy adding Tebogo Sembowa and taking out Musonda in a bid to increase the tempo.

Galaxy’s Kagiso Molapi received a yellow card for a foul on Wabuya Aebe. Moabi Sebele was also cautioned for clipping Sesinyi while Tebogo Sosome joined the list of yellow cards in the 60th minute for rough play on Sakoyo’s Onkagetse Mojwaine.

Both teams made last minute substitutions in an effort to find the net to no avail.

Galaxy coach, Mike Sithole said the game was a tough one but his boys worked hard to get the needed points.

“We were under pressure and I am happy that they relaxed and delivered. We are more than prepared for the coming games,” Sithole said.

Sankoyo assistant coach, Gadimang Tiiso also acknowledged the match was tough.

He commended his boys for fighting hard. “We lost most of our players to other teams and we are working hard to motivate the remaining ones and we are ready to face Black Forest,” Tiiso added.
